In feminist tags, I noticed that there is a viewpoint that is clearly expressed: that women are always innocent. When women claim they have been abused and/or raped, they are immediately believed and the person accused is attacked. Am I saying that we shouldn’t believe female rape and abuse victims? No, I am saying that instead of believing her right off the bat, there needs to be a fair trial. A woman’s claims cannot be proven purely because she is a woman. Also, men should get fair trials when they accuse a female of abusing or raping them. I know that here on Tumblr nobody acknowledges male abuse and rape victims, but men are abused. It happens much more than you think. If feminists want equality between genders, then men and women should be treated the same in this situation, not simply ignored. Once again, I am not saying to not believe somebody when they tell you they have been raped or abused, but don’t automatically believe them just because they’re a woman.
If the biggest concern in your life is that guys on the internet do not “take you serious” as a ~girl gamer, do not get offended when someone doesn’t take your “feminism” serious.
You aren’t a feminist and you aren’t oppressed. You are a privileged entitled brat.
